I started working with programming languages to maintain or develop software. Driven by a desire to better understand the systems I was working on, I moved into quality assurance and business analyst roles, where I improved my writing skills in both French and English. This led me to a technical writing position where I translated some of our English documentation for a French client.

 

As a technical writer, I used DITA and joined the DITA Molière association when it was founded, becoming its treasurer and webmaster. I also contributed to the association's online DITA training platform by translating several courses.

 

To further improve my translation skills, I completed a translation course at Edvenn and received my certification in January 2023.
